GearDryLog

GearDryLog is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) for skiers, snowboarders, divers, paddlers, and guides who constantly fight damp gear, mildew, and forgotten maintenance. Users create a kit list (boots, gloves, wetsuit, drysuit, helmet liners, avalanche gear) and log “wet events” with quick presets. The app then generates a drying and care checklist based on material and conditions, sets timers (e.g., boot liner swap, wetsuit rinse, drysuit zipper wax), and tracks when items were last cleaned, re-waterproofed, or inspected. It also stores receipts/warranty dates and sends reminders before trips. An AI layer can read a photo of a care label and suggest safe drying/cleaning steps, but the core value works without AI. This is not glamorous—it's a practical operations tool for people who hate replacing expensive gear early.
