GearLedger is a mobile + web app for teams and facilities to manage protective gear like helmets, pads, mouthguards, and goalie gear. It centralizes who has what, purchase dates, warranty/recert windows, inspection notes, and incident history (big hits, cracks, missing parts). Staff can scan QR codes on gear to pull up the record instantly, log a quick inspection with photos, and flag items as “pull from play” with an audit trail. Automated reminders reduce the common failure mode: gear quietly aging out or being reused after damage. It also generates simple compliance reports for leagues, schools, and insurers, and supports bulk inventory imports for season turnover. This is not a consumer toy—it's ops software aimed at reducing liability and preventing avoidable injuries through better process and documentation.
