GearReceipt is a mobile + web app that turns messy sports apparel and footwear purchases into organized, warranty-ready records. Users scan or forward receipts (email, PDF, photo) and the app extracts key fields: item, size, model/SKU, store, purchase date, price, and return/warranty window. It then creates a searchable “gear locker” with reminders before return deadlines, and a one-tap claim packet (receipt + item details + photos) you can send to retailers or brands. It also stores fit notes (runs small, heel slip, break-in time) and links to the exact product page for reorders. This is not glamorous; it’s admin. But it saves real money when shoes delaminate, jerseys tear, or you need to prove purchase for returns—especially for parents buying frequently and athletes who rotate gear often.
