GembaSnap
GembaSnap is a mobile-first continuous improvement app for capturing shop-floor or frontline issues in seconds and turning them into measurable actions. Users snap a photo, tag the area/process, pick a waste category (defect, waiting, motion, etc.), and the app auto-generates a concise problem statement and suggested next steps. A lightweight workflow assigns owners, due dates, and verification checks, then ties each improvement to simple before/after metrics (scrap rate, cycle time, rework hours). The web dashboard aggregates recurring issues by line, shift, and location to surface the few problems that actually move KPIs. It’s not a full-blown enterprise EHS/QMS replacement; it’s a focused “capture-to-closure” tool for teams that currently lose improvement ideas in spreadsheets, email, or whiteboards. The AI is optional and mainly speeds up writing, categorization, and trend summaries.
