GenePlate

GenePlate is a mobile + web AI app that converts consumer DNA raw data (23andMe/Ancestry-style exports) into conservative, evidence-graded nutrition guidance and grocery swaps. Instead of promising “personalized miracles,” it focuses on a few nutrigenomic areas with the most actionable signal (e.g., lactose tolerance, caffeine metabolism, alcohol flush risk, folate-related variants, omega-3 response proxies) and clearly labels uncertainty. Users set goals (energy, GI comfort, weight maintenance) and dietary constraints, then get a weekly “safe picks” list, recipe suggestions, and a barcode scanner that flags potential mismatches (e.g., high caffeine drinks for slow metabolizers) with plain-language explanations and citations. A clinician mode lets dietitians generate shareable reports and track adherence without pretending the genetics alone is destiny. The product succeeds by being honest, narrow, and useful day-to-day.
