GeoFenceHQ is a mobile + web app that lets small businesses set up simple geofences around real-world locations (job sites, stores, event venues) and trigger lightweight actions when staff enter/exit. The MVP focuses on three practical outcomes: proof-of-arrival for field work, automatic shift check-in/out prompts, and safety pings for lone workers. It avoids heavy “workforce management” suites by integrating with tools teams already use (Slack, Teams, Google Calendar) and by keeping setup to minutes: pick a place on a map, set radius, choose who’s included, and select a trigger. It’s not trying to be a full time-tracking system; it’s a proximity layer that reduces manual texts, missed arrivals, and disputes. Privacy is handled with transparent, opt-in tracking windows and on-device location sampling to limit battery drain and creepiness.
