GhostDesk is a web + desktop app that creates a lightweight “presence avatar” for remote work: it can join scheduled Zoom/Google Meet calls, post a polite status, capture key decisions, and ping you only when you’re needed. It’s not a fake human deepfake; it’s an explicit assistant presence that clearly labels itself as an AI proxy and follows company rules. The app integrates with your calendar, Slack/Teams, and meeting platforms to handle the boring parts: roll call, agenda tracking, action items, and timeboxing. You can set strict policies (never speak, only summarize; or speak only from approved templates). After the call, you get a concise recap, decisions, and tasks with owners, plus a “confidence/coverage” score showing what it might have missed. The product lives or dies on trust, transparency, and admin controls—not gimmicky avatars.
