GiftAudit

GiftAudit is a mobile + web app that helps values-driven donors avoid waste, fraud, and vague “impact” claims. Users search any nonprofit and get a plain-English risk and transparency snapshot: financial ratios, governance signals, program clarity, recent controversies, and whether reporting is current. The app also lets you set giving principles (faith-aligned causes, local-first, emergency-only, admin-cost tolerance) and builds a short list of recommended options with clear tradeoffs. It’s not a feel-good “impact score” machine; it’s a decision aid that shows sources, uncertainty, and what it cannot know. For recurring giving, GiftAudit can monitor your chosen charities and alert you when filings lapse, leadership changes, or major news breaks—so your generosity stays accountable without becoming a second job.
