GiftGrid

GiftGrid is a mobile + web app that makes group gifting for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and office parties actually manageable. The organizer creates a gift page, picks one or more items (or a cash goal), and invites contributors via link or SMS. Contributors can pay in seconds, see transparent progress, and choose whether their name is shown. The app auto-handles reminders, deadlines, and last-minute shortfalls with optional “cover the remainder” toggles. For delivery, GiftGrid can generate a digital card signed by contributors, or route the purchase through supported merchants and ship directly to the recipient. It also supports event-based gifting: one link per celebration, with multiple gifts and budgets. This is not magical—merchant integrations and fraud controls are hard—but the MVP can start with simple cash pooling and gift-card fulfillment.
