GigMargin

GigMargin is a mobile + web AI-assisted app that tells freelancers and side-hustlers whether a job is actually worth taking. Users paste a client message, contract snippet, or platform listing, and the app extracts scope, deadlines, deliverables, and hidden costs (meetings, revisions, travel, tools, platform fees, taxes). It then calculates an effective hourly rate and profit margin based on the user’s real availability, typical overrun, and local tax assumptions. GigMargin also suggests a counter-offer: price, timeline, and a short negotiation script tailored to the client’s tone. It includes a “scope creep” tracker that flags when requests exceed the original agreement and generates a polite change-order message. This is not a project management suite; it’s a decision and pricing tool designed to prevent undercharging, burnout, and taking low-quality gigs.
