GiveGuard is a web + mobile app that helps faith communities and individual donors avoid ineffective or misleading giving. It aggregates public filings (where available), audited reports, and on-the-ground evidence (photos, receipts, third-party attestations) into a simple “confidence score” and plain-language breakdown: how funds are used, governance red flags, and outcome claims that don’t add up. The app also supports “restricted giving” templates (e.g., food pantry supplies only) and tracks whether the charity later reports matching expenses. For churches and small groups, GiveGuard creates a shared giving list with approvals, recurring donations, and end-of-year statements. This is not a miracle solution—many charities have limited data and outcomes are hard to measure—but it significantly reduces blind giving and helps donors align generosity with ethical stewardship and accountability.
