GiyurGuide

GiyurGuide is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps prospective converts and sponsoring rabbis manage the messy, highly variable conversion process without pretending there’s one universal checklist. Users choose their community context (Orthodox/Conservative/Reform/other, country, beit din expectations), then get a realistic roadmap: required learning topics, practice milestones, document tracking, and appointment scheduling. The AI component is a constrained Q&A tutor that answers practical questions (kashrut at home, Shabbat basics, holiday prep) using community-approved sources and local rabbinic policy notes, and it flags anything that must be confirmed with the sponsoring rabbi. The app also includes a “friction log” where users record blockers (family pushback, workplace issues, housing, costs) and share them with mentors. This is not a magic conversion app; it’s a coordination and accountability tool that reduces confusion, drop-off, and miscommunication.
