GlossGuard

GlossGuard is a web app (with optional desktop plugin later) that enforces terminology and style consistency for translation teams and agencies. You upload a glossary, style rules, and reference translations; then the app checks new translations (human or machine) for term mismatches, forbidden phrasing, inconsistent capitalization, units, and brand voice violations. It produces a clear QA report with suggested fixes and highlights the exact segments where issues occur. It also tracks term decisions over time so teams stop relitigating the same wording every project. This is an AI + traditional app: deterministic rules handle strict glossary enforcement, while an LLM suggests better rewrites that still respect the glossary and tone. It’s not a full CAT tool replacement; it’s a focused “quality gate” that plugs into existing workflows via file upload and API.
