GlowAudit is a mobile + web app that helps luxury skincare buyers and boutique retailers verify product authenticity and freshness using a layered approach: barcode/GTIN checks, packaging photo analysis, batch/lot validation, and seller reputation scoring. Users scan the box and jar, upload a few guided photos (seal, embossing, font, cap, inner lid), and get a risk score with clear reasons—what looks consistent, what looks off, and what cannot be verified. It also tracks opening date, recommended discard windows, and storage conditions to reduce irritation from degraded actives. For retailers, it provides an intake workflow to document incoming inventory with time-stamped evidence and exportable reports for customer trust. It’s an AI-assisted app (for image anomaly detection) combined with traditional verification logic and data integrations. It will not magically “guarantee” authenticity; it focuses on reducing risk and catching obvious fakes early.
