GlowReceipt

GlowReceipt is a mobile + web app that helps homeowners and renters manage lighting purchases after checkout—where most frustration actually happens. Scan or forward email receipts, then the app extracts key details (store, SKU, finish, bulb base, color temperature, return window, warranty length). It builds a “lighting inventory” per room with photos, install dates, and notes like dimmer compatibility or bulb replacements. When a return window is about to close, a bulb is due for replacement, or a warranty claim is likely, GlowReceipt sends a reminder with the exact receipt and steps. It also stores spec sheets and links to compatible bulbs/drivers so you don’t rebuy the wrong thing. This isn’t glamorous, but it’s practical: fewer missed returns, fewer duplicate purchases, and less time hunting emails and paper receipts.
