GlyphProof
GlyphProof is a web + desktop helper app for type designers and brand teams to catch real-world font failures before release. You upload an OTF/TTF/variable font, pick target languages and platforms, and it runs a battery of automated checks: missing glyphs, broken kerning pairs, bad anchors/marks, OpenType feature conflicts, variable axis extremes, and rendering regressions across major rasterizers. It then generates a shareable proof pack: PDF specimens, web previews, and a prioritized bug list with reproducible strings (e.g., “Vietnamese + italics + mark positioning breaks”). It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules catch known issues; AI flags “looks wrong” spacing/shape anomalies by comparing against expected patterns and your previous releases. This isn’t a font editor; it’s a ruthless QA gate that saves time, rework, and reputation.
