GoalSplit is a mobile + web app that turns a large purchase (car down payment, wedding, home renovation, laptop) into a clear weekly plan tied to your real cash flow. You connect accounts, pick a target amount and date, and the app calculates a weekly “safe-to-save” number based on recurring bills, upcoming known expenses, and recent spending patterns. It then creates a dedicated goal ledger (not a bank account) and prompts you to move money on payday, with optional rules like “round-ups + $25/week” or “save 30% of side-gig deposits.” The AI layer explains shortfalls in plain English (“your dining spend is +$86 vs baseline”) and suggests the smallest behavior changes to get back on track. It’s intentionally narrow: one job—get you to a big purchase without guessing.
