GradeGuard

GradeGuard is a web + mobile app that audits gradebooks for common, costly errors: missing assignments accidentally marked zero, category weights that don’t sum correctly, duplicate entries, late-work policy inconsistencies, and outlier scores that suggest miskeys. It connects to major LMS/gradebook systems (where allowed) or imports CSV exports, then runs a rules-based and AI-assisted check to flag issues with clear explanations and one-click fixes (or a suggested edit list). Teachers get a daily “risk queue” of items most likely to trigger student/parent disputes. Department heads and admins get aggregate reports showing where grading policies are being applied inconsistently across classes—without exposing student identities by default. This is not a new gradebook; it’s a safety layer that reduces regrade requests, angry emails, and end-of-term chaos while improving fairness and trust.
