GradeTrace
GradeTrace is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps teachers and schools produce clear, auditable grading evidence for written responses and projects. Instead of “black box” scores, it generates a structured grading packet: rubric-aligned highlights from student work, brief rationale notes per criterion, and a consistency check across a class set. Teachers can upload PDFs, Docs, or images, select or build a rubric, and review suggested annotations before releasing results. The system also flags common issues that trigger disputes—missing rubric evidence, inconsistent weighting, or comments that don’t match the score. It exports parent-friendly reports and admin-ready audit logs. This is an AI + traditional app: AI drafts evidence and rationales; humans approve. It’s not magic—poor rubrics and vague prompts still produce mediocre outputs—but it can cut grading documentation time dramatically and reduce grade appeals.
