GrandLink

GrandLink is a mobile + web app that helps grandparents stay meaningfully involved without creating family friction. It combines a shared family calendar (visits, school events, games, recitals), a lightweight “permissioned” photo/video stream, and a simple request/offer system for rides, babysitting, and help—controlled by parents. The core is access control: parents decide what each grandparent can see, comment on, or join, reducing oversharing and boundary issues that derail most family apps. It also includes a “kid profile” with allergies, routines, and emergency contacts that grandparents can quickly reference. This is a traditional app with a small AI layer that summarizes weekly updates and suggests age-appropriate activity ideas based on the child’s schedule and interests. Monetization is subscription per family, with optional add-ons like printed photo books.
