GrantFit

GrantFit is a web app with AI-assisted matching that helps researchers and research offices quickly identify realistic funding opportunities and avoid wasting weeks on misaligned calls. Users paste a short project summary (or upload an abstract) and the app returns a ranked list of grants with a plain-English “fit report”: eligibility flags, likely competitiveness, hidden constraints (career stage, geography, budget caps), and required attachments. It also generates a one-page internal go/no-go brief for PI + department approval, including a checklist and timeline. The product is intentionally narrow: it doesn’t try to write the whole proposal or replace institutional systems; it focuses on the painful front-end triage step where most time is burned. Data comes from curated funder feeds plus user-contributed updates, with admin tools for research development staff to maintain local “preferred funders” lists.
