GrantGauge is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small businesses and accountants identify, qualify for, and actually claim government subsidies, tax credits, and incentive programs. It ingests basic business data (industry, location, payroll, capex plans, energy usage) and maps it to federal/state/local programs, then produces a step-by-step checklist, required documents list, and deadline calendar. The AI layer summarizes eligibility rules in plain language, flags missing evidence, and drafts first-pass narratives for applications and supporting memos. The brutally realistic part: most businesses don’t claim incentives because the rules are fragmented and the admin burden is high; this product wins only if it reduces time-to-claim and prevents disqualifying mistakes. It’s not a “free money” app—it's a compliance workflow tool that makes incentives claimable with audit-ready documentation.
