GrantGuard

GrantGuard is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps municipal departments manage grant compliance without drowning in spreadsheets and email threads. It centralizes grant awards, reporting deadlines, required documentation, budget categories, and audit-ready evidence in one place. Staff can assign tasks, upload receipts and proof-of-performance, and generate a simple compliance timeline per grant. The AI component reads award PDFs and extracts key obligations (reporting dates, match requirements, allowable costs) into structured checklists—then flags missing items and upcoming risks. It also produces a “what changed” summary when amendments arrive. This is not a magic autopilot: it won’t replace finance or legal review, and it can misread messy PDFs, so human confirmation is built in. The goal is fewer missed deadlines, fewer clawbacks, and faster audits with less staff time.
