GrantGuard

GrantGuard is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for local governments and public agencies to manage grant compliance in one place. It centralizes award documents, reporting deadlines, allowable-cost rules, subrecipient monitoring, and evidence collection (invoices, timesheets, photos, procurement files). The app generates a simple compliance calendar, assigns tasks to owners, and flags missing documentation early. An AI layer can read award PDFs and draft a compliance checklist, suggest required backup for each cost category, and summarize what changed across amendments—while keeping humans in control. This is not a magic “audit-proof” button: it won’t fix weak internal controls or bad bookkeeping. But it can drastically reduce the chaos of scattered spreadsheets, email threads, and last-minute document hunts that cause findings, clawbacks, and staff burnout.
