GrantHandshake

GrantHandshake is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps researchers form credible, fundable teams around specific grant calls. Instead of generic networking, it ingests a funding opportunity link and guides users through a structured “collaboration packet”: required roles, eligibility constraints, timeline, and a shared workplan. An AI layer drafts role descriptions, identifies missing expertise from each member’s publications/CV, and generates a first-pass aims outline and task breakdown. The core value is coordination: a single place to track who committed to what, deadlines, compliance items, and versioned documents. It also includes a “commitment score” based on responsiveness and delivered milestones, reducing flakey collaborations. This is not a full proposal-writing suite; it’s a team formation and execution tool that gets groups to a submission-ready state with fewer meetings and less chaos.
