GrantLedger is a web app (with optional desktop export tools) for government accounting teams who must track restricted funds, grants, and cost allocations without spreadsheet chaos. It ingests transactions from ERP exports (CSV/SFTP), maps them to funds/programs/projects, and enforces rules like allowable cost categories, match requirements, and period-of-performance. The app produces audit-ready schedules: grant drawdowns, indirect cost allocations, fund balance rollforwards, and reconciliation packets with a clear evidence trail. It also flags common compliance issues (late postings, overspent line items, missing documentation) and assigns remediation tasks. This is a traditional app with light AI assistance: AI helps classify ambiguous transactions and draft narrative explanations for variances, but users approve everything. The goal is not to replace the ERP—it's to sit on top as the compliance and closeout layer that most ERPs do poorly.
