GrantLedger

GrantLedger is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for state/provincial finance agencies and subnational governments to manage grant allocations, drawdowns, compliance evidence, and reporting in one place. It standardizes grant terms into a structured template, tracks disbursements against eligible cost categories, and maintains an audit-ready evidence vault (contracts, invoices, payroll, photos, geotags). A rules engine flags common compliance failures early (late reporting, ineligible spend, missing match documentation, procurement gaps). It generates required reports (by program, jurisdiction, period) and exports to common formats used by treasury and auditors. This is a traditional app with AI assist: AI helps classify documents, extract key fields, and draft narrative justifications, but the system is still driven by explicit rules and approvals. The goal is fewer clawbacks, fewer frantic end-of-year scrambles, and faster closeout.
