GrantPulse
GrantPulse is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for state/provincial finance teams to monitor grants sent to cities, counties, and districts in near real time. It ingests payment files and budget codes, then forces a simple, standardized monthly check-in from each subrecipient: spend-to-date, remaining balance, and a short narrative with attachments. The product focuses on the unglamorous but expensive gap between “money sent” and “money provably used correctly.” It generates exception flags (late reporting, unusual burn rates, missing documentation, mismatched categories) and produces audit-ready packets per grant and per subrecipient. This is not a full grants management suite; it’s a compliance and visibility layer that can sit on top of existing ERP/accounting systems. Expect heavy stakeholder friction: adoption requires policy enforcement and clear consequences for non-reporting.
