GrantSplit

GrantSplit is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps state agencies, counties, and municipalities calculate, track, and reconcile revenue-sharing distributions across jurisdictions and programs. Users import source data (sales tax, fuel tax, PILT, cannabis excise, lottery, etc.), apply configurable formulas (statutory percentages, caps, hold-harmless, population weights), and generate distribution schedules with a full audit trail. The system flags anomalies (missing remittances, outlier allocations, late payments) and produces standardized reports for finance teams, auditors, and public transparency portals. It also supports intergovernmental agreements by storing rule versions, effective dates, and approvals so disputes can be resolved quickly. This is not glamorous software: it’s compliance plumbing. The value is fewer spreadsheet errors, faster close, and fewer angry calls from jurisdictions claiming they were shorted.
