GrazeScout
GrazeScout is a mobile + web app that helps graziers decide when and where to rotate livestock using quick pasture measurements and simple forecasting. Users record sward height (or plate meter readings), stocking numbers, and recent rainfall; the app converts this into estimated dry matter, days of feed ahead, and a recommended move date. It also tracks paddock rest periods and flags when a paddock is being re-grazed too soon. The MVP avoids expensive hardware dependencies: it works with manual inputs, optional photo notes, and basic offline mode for poor coverage. Reports are designed for real farm decisions: “what paddock next,” “how many days left,” and “what happens if I add/remove a group.” It’s not a glossy farm management suite—just a focused grazing decision tool that reduces guesswork and missed growth windows.
