GreenGearKit is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps parents manage eco-friendly kids products by extending their useful life. Instead of focusing on barcode “eco scores” (often unreliable), it tracks what you already own: diapers, bottles, clothes, toys, lunch gear, and furniture. You log items quickly, then the app estimates cost-per-use, replacement timing, and waste avoided based on simple lifecycle assumptions. It also nudges you toward the highest-impact actions: repair, parts replacement, safe cleaning routines, and local hand-me-down swaps. A built-in “gear passport” makes it easy to pass items to another family with care instructions, known wear, and recall checks. The AI component auto-categorizes items from photos/receipts and drafts resale/swap listings, but the core value works without it. Monetization: subscription plus optional swap-fee for verified local exchanges.
