GridAudit
GridAudit is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that automatically audits geospatial datasets for the boring, expensive problems: CRS mismatches, invalid geometries, topology breaks, attribute outliers, duplicate features, and suspicious shifts between versions. Users upload GeoPackage/GeoJSON/Shapefile or connect to PostGIS/S3, then run repeatable “checks” that produce a scored report, map-based issue viewer, and exportable fix suggestions. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules catch deterministic issues, while an AI layer flags anomalies (e.g., parcels drifting, roads snapping oddly, impossible speed/heading jumps) and generates plain-English explanations for non-GIS stakeholders. It won’t magically “clean all data” (that’s fantasy), but it will reliably surface problems early, standardize QA across teams, and reduce rework before data ships to production maps, analytics, or compliance reporting.
