GridCash

GridCash is a mobile + web app for off-grid and mini-grid operators to reduce non-technical losses and stabilize cash collection. It combines prepaid metering reconciliation, agent-based collections, and outage-aware billing into one workflow that works with intermittent connectivity. Field agents can enroll customers, capture meter IDs, sync tariff plans, and accept payments (mobile money/cash) with receipts that reconcile automatically when back online. Operators get a dashboard showing energy sold vs. energy billed vs. energy paid, with alerts for suspicious drops, meter tampering signals (where available), and chronic defaulters. This is not a “smart grid” fantasy product; it’s built for messy realities: mixed meter brands, manual reads, unreliable networks, and limited staff. The goal is simple: get paid accurately, faster, and with fewer disputes.
