GridCrit

GridCrit is a critique marketplace built for painters and drawers who want practical improvement, not vague praise. Users upload a piece-in-progress, choose what they want feedback on (values, anatomy, composition, edges, color), and set a budget and deadline. Verified artists respond with structured notes plus a paintover layer (PSD/Procreate-compatible) and a short screen-recorded walkthrough explaining the changes. The platform includes a “critique rubric” so feedback is consistent and comparable, and a revision loop where the student can submit one update for follow-up. This is not a general social network; it’s a paid, time-boxed service with quality control, refunds for missed deadlines, and a rating system that prioritizes helpfulness over popularity. Mobile + web app for submissions, viewing, messaging, and payments; creators can deliver files from desktop or tablet.
