GridFlex helps small businesses cut electricity costs by automatically shifting flexible loads away from expensive peak hours. It connects to common smart thermostats, EV chargers, and a few popular building controls, then uses utility rate plans and real-time grid signals to schedule pre-cooling/heating, EV charging, and non-critical equipment cycles. The app shows a simple “what we changed” log, projected vs. actual savings, and comfort/operational guardrails so owners don’t feel like they’re flying blind. This is not magic: if a site has no controllable devices or is already optimized, savings will be limited. But for light commercial spaces with HVAC and predictable hours, even modest peak reduction can materially lower bills and demand charges. The product is a web app + mobile companion, combining traditional automation with AI-assisted forecasting and recommendations.
