GridGrant

GridGrant is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for NGOs, social enterprises, and local governments running energy-access projects (mini-grids, solar home systems, clean cooking). It standardizes field data collection and turns it into funder-ready evidence: baseline surveys, installation verification, usage/uptime logs, and outcome reporting tied to SDG-style indicators. The app focuses on the messy middle of energy development—fragmented spreadsheets, inconsistent metrics, and reporting that drains teams. Users can build a project “evidence pack” with photos, GPS, beneficiary consent, device serials, and periodic follow-ups. It also supports simple offline-first forms for enumerators and a dashboard that flags missing data, suspicious entries, and underperforming sites. This is not a magic “save the world” tool; it’s a practical reporting and accountability layer that reduces admin burden and improves credibility with donors and impact investors.
