GridGrit is a mobile + web app that helps autocross drivers and organizers stop wasting time on classing confusion and day-of-event paperwork. Drivers enter their car, mods, tires, and key specs; the app maps them to likely SCCA-style classes with clear “why” explanations and flags common rule traps (e.g., wheel width, shocks, intake, aero). It also generates a tech/waiver-ready checklist and a shareable “car card” QR code for grid workers and tech inspectors to verify basics quickly. For organizers, it provides a lightweight event roster import, quick discrepancy flags (self-reported vs. class rules), and a simple audit trail if a protest happens. This isn’t a lap-timer—it's admin glue that reduces arguments, delays, and misclassed runs. Monetization: freemium for drivers, paid organizer tools per event/season.
