GridGuard

GridGuard is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for broadcast and cable operations teams to monitor the real-world accuracy of their linear schedule. It continuously compares the planned program log (traffic/scheduling export) against what actually aired by analyzing a low-res confidence stream and closed captions/metadata. When a show starts late, an episode ID is wrong, a live event overruns, or a local break fires unexpectedly, GridGuard alerts the right people and produces a clean incident timeline for postmortems and makegoods. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations and workflows, with AI used for matching “as-aired” content to the schedule using caption similarity and fingerprinting. It’s not glamorous, but it targets an expensive, recurring operational failure that causes ad liability, affiliate complaints, and viewer churn.
