GridScout

GridScout is a mobile + web app for rural electrification operators to capture outages, prioritize repairs, and dispatch field crews with minimal connectivity. Field agents use an offline-first mobile app to log faults (downed lines, transformer trips, low voltage), attach photos, GPS, and basic load/voltage readings, then sync when a signal appears. Supervisors use a lightweight web console to triage tickets, assign crews, track ETAs, and generate reliability reports (SAIDI/SAIFI-style) without needing a full SCADA rollout. It’s not a magic “smart grid” platform; it’s a pragmatic workflow tool for places where WhatsApp, paper logs, and guesswork currently run operations. Optional AI helps auto-classify fault types from photos/text and suggests likely causes based on history, but the core value works without AI. The business model is per-feeder/per-crew subscription plus onboarding.
