GridShift

GridShift is a web + mobile AI app that helps commercial buildings and light industrial sites reduce carbon by automatically scheduling flexible loads (HVAC pre-cooling/heating, battery charging, EV fleets, refrigeration defrost cycles, compressed air) into lower-carbon grid hours. It connects to utility interval meters and common building/IoT systems, pulls real-time marginal emissions and price signals, and produces an actionable schedule with guardrails for comfort, safety, and operations. The MVP focuses on “human-in-the-loop” recommendations and simple automations, because full autonomous control is hard to trust and even harder to integrate. It generates auditable reports: avoided CO2e, cost impact, and operational constraints met. This is not a magic decarbonization button—savings depend on having controllable loads and decent data—but for the right sites it can deliver measurable reductions without capital projects.
