GriefLiturgy
GriefLiturgy is a mobile app (with a companion web app) that helps people navigate grief using short, non-denominational spiritual “liturgies” and reflection paths. Users pick a situation (death, breakup, miscarriage, estrangement, pet loss) and the app delivers a 5–10 minute daily sequence: grounding, a reading (drawn from public-domain wisdom texts and modern licensed pieces), a prompt, and an optional prayer/intent statement. An AI companion can rewrite prompts in the user’s preferred tone (religious, spiritual-but-not-religious, secular) and generate a weekly recap that highlights themes without pretending to be therapy. It also includes a “support circle” feature to request specific kinds of help (meals, check-ins, silence) with templates that reduce social friction. This is not a replacement for counseling; it’s structured, repeatable support when people are too depleted to think.
