GriefLog
GriefLog is a guided journaling app built specifically for people processing loss. Instead of generic prompts, it focuses on the hard moments: anniversaries, birthdays, sudden reminders, and “good days” that bring guilt. Users can write freeform entries, choose a grief stage/mood label, and attach a small memory artifact (photo, voice note, or scanned note). The app gently surfaces past entries when they’re most relevant (e.g., one week before an anniversary) and offers optional structured exercises created with licensed-therapist templates (CBT-style reframes, letter-to-the-person, gratitude-without-gaslighting). It is privacy-first: local encryption, optional end-to-end encrypted sync, and a “panic lock” screen. This is not therapy and won’t pretend to replace it; it’s a practical tool for self-processing and continuity when life is messy and support is inconsistent.
