GripGait

GripGait is a mobile AI app that screens proprioception using quick, repeatable tests you can do at home with just a phone. It uses the camera and on-device motion sensors to run short protocols: single-leg stance with head turns, step-to-target accuracy, reach-to-point with eyes closed, and gait symmetry checks. The app outputs a plain-language “Body Awareness Score,” highlights asymmetries (left vs right), and tracks changes over time. It’s not a medical diagnosis; it’s a practical baseline and progress tracker for people doing rehab, strength training, or fall-prevention work. Clinicians can optionally generate a shareable report link for patients, but the core product is self-serve. The MVP focuses on reliability and repeatability over flashy features, because noisy measurements will kill trust fast.
