GripQuest
GripQuest is a mobile + tablet app for ages 2–6 that turns evidence-based fine-motor practice into short, parent-guided “missions” using everyday items (clothespins, coins, playdough, crayons). The app starts with a 2-minute baseline check (simple taps, pinch-and-drag, tracing) and then recommends 5–7 minute sessions targeting pincer grasp, hand strength, bilateral coordination, and pre-writing strokes. Each mission includes a 20–30 second demo video, a timer, and clear success criteria so adults can coach without guessing. Progress is tracked with quick check-ins and optional photo/video logs to share with occupational therapists or teachers. This is not a miracle cure—kids still need real-world practice—but it removes planning friction and keeps practice consistent, which is what most families fail at.
