Users scan a QR code or barcode on helmets, pads, mouthguards, and guards, then log purchase date, usage frequency, and any notable incidents (big hit, crack, strap failure). The app generates realistic replacement reminders based on manufacturer guidance and league rules, and keeps a simple compliance record for coaches and parents. It also supports quick pre-practice gear checks with a checklist and photo evidence (useful when equipment is shared or stored poorly). This is a mobile app with a lightweight web dashboard for coaches/club admins. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used only to read labels/serial numbers from photos and to summarize incident notes into a clear log entry.
