GuidelineGap is a web app (with optional EHR-embedded view) that flags high-risk “misses” in real time: missing VTE prophylaxis, overdue sepsis bundle steps, unsafe renal dosing, duplicate anticoagulants, and contraindicated meds based on labs and vitals. It connects via HL7 FHIR to pull meds, problems, labs, vitals, and orders, then runs a transparent rules engine plus an AI layer that summarizes why the alert matters and what action is recommended. The product is intentionally narrow: it focuses on 20–40 high-impact, evidence-based rules that hospitals can audit and tune, rather than trying to be a universal diagnostic AI. It includes an alert governance dashboard to track override rates, outcome proxies, and rule performance, helping clinical informatics teams reduce alert fatigue instead of adding to it. Realistically, selling requires proof of reduced harm and workflow fit.
