GuiltReset
GuiltReset is a mobile AI + traditional app that helps people practice self-compassion without the fluffy affirmations that many users abandon. You log a moment of self-criticism (voice or text), and the app guides you through a 3-minute “reset”: name the trigger, separate facts from judgment, and choose one realistic repair action (or a deliberate “let it go” decision). It uses short, structured prompts based on CBT/ACT-style reframing, plus a “compassion script” that sounds like a grounded friend—not a therapist. Progress is tracked as streaks of completed resets and a weekly pattern report (common triggers, time-of-day spikes, recurring themes). The app is designed for quick use in real life: after a mistake at work, a conflict, binge scrolling, missed workouts, or parenting guilt. It avoids pretending to replace therapy and focuses on small, repeatable behavior change.
