GymKey

GymKey is a mobile + web app for community recreation centers to manage access, check-ins, and incident accountability without expensive hardware. Staff create time-bound digital passes for members, leagues, and one-off rentals; users tap a QR code at the front desk or a low-cost tablet kiosk to check in. For after-hours access, GymKey supports rotating PINs and optional smart-lock integrations where available, but it’s designed to work even when budgets are tight. Admins get a simple dashboard showing who is in the building, capacity limits, and basic incident logs (injury, damage, rule violations) tied to a booking or pass. It also sends automated reminders for closing time, no-show tracking, and membership verification. It’s not glamorous—just a practical layer that reduces staff time, disputes, and “who let them in?” problems.
