GymProof is a mobile AI app that helps gym-goers avoid awkward conflicts and wasted time by creating a lightweight “proof layer” for shared equipment use. Users tap Start when they begin a set, and the app records a short, privacy-first clip (or audio + motion) with a visible timer overlay and a local-first timestamp. If someone claims a machine is free, you can show a simple “in-use card” without escalating. For busy gyms, GymProof can generate a QR “equipment hold” screen you place on the machine; others can scan to see an anonymous countdown and optional queue. The app also tracks rest intervals and set counts automatically, so it’s not just policing—it’s useful training support. This is intentionally narrow: it solves the specific friction of crowded gyms without needing the gym’s cooperation.
