HabitatProof
HabitatProof is a mobile + web app that helps conservation NGOs, landowners, and funders verify wildlife-habitat restoration work with consistent, auditable evidence. Field teams capture geotagged photos, short transect notes, and optional acoustic snippets on-site, even offline. The system auto-checks metadata integrity, flags suspicious uploads (wrong location/time, reused images), and produces simple progress dashboards tied to project milestones. An AI layer helps classify vegetation cover changes and detects common species calls from audio, but it’s positioned as “assistive” rather than definitive to avoid overclaiming. The output is a shareable verification report that reduces back-and-forth with donors and improves trust. This is not a poaching-response tool; it’s a compliance-and-proof workflow for restoration and biodiversity projects where documentation is currently messy, inconsistent, and easy to game.
